Think of me as your guide, guru, sherpa, teacher on your journey to wellness, mind-body-spirit. I’m here to show you the path, guide you through difficult times and enable you to be ready for your future journeys.

If everyone was successful on their journey to personal change, there would be no self help books in this world. It’s not your fault that you bought the latest book on how to make lasting change only to have it gather dust a few weeks later. I’ve been there done that. What I have found is that having accountability to my desired personal goals makes me much more likely to achieve them and achieve them faster than if I am left to my own devices.

Wellness Coaching is all about showing you the path, helping you understand what makes that path the best for you, helping you stay motivated and focused to reach your goals and retrain how you think about your body, your health and your life so you can be the best version of you that you can be.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. ~Marianne Williamson

Who better to guide you on this road than someone who has been there too?

Over the past 12 years I’ve trained for over 20 triathlons from sprint distance to half IronMan with a coach; I have fixed some crazy health issues with a nutritional guide; I’ve gained weight and lost it with the help of a nutrition coach; I’ve overcome many mental demons through combination of exercise, nutrition, and personal coaching with a coach; achieved my PhD and currently I am training with a coach towards one day earning my Master of Sport in Girevoy Sport (kettlebells).

My point: I couldn’t have done many of these things as well or effectively without the help of someone else along the way. Coaches are here to cheer you on, help you stay focused when you need help and push you when you need a little bit of nudging.

I’m a wellness coach here to guide you along this pathway to help you change how you think about your life in a positive way.

What is this about Kettlebells?

I love kettlebells. I think they are an efficient way to gain strength and rev the metabolism to help you lose weight if your goals are health related. A good approach to a healthy lifestyle is to address both nutritional habits as well as improving fitness. Kettlebells are portable, and can be done in your home. Trust me, I know! I train with them in my tiny apartment too! So no need to find a fancy gym, just a few kettlebells. I can help people with a home kettlebell program or help them just find a way that they enjoy being active and help keep them accountable.

Who are your clients?

People who are tired of trying to make lasting change in areas of their life, that don’t seem to take hold whether it is diet, exercise, life goals.

What is your approach?
It is a habits based approach where you try to change little things, one at a time rather than overhaul EVERYTHING, only to find that after a few weeks those changes don’t stick. We work on one new habit each week and focus on how to retrain how you think about yourself, your body, your life and the world around you.

Why does your approach work?
Changing your habits one at a time works because you are able to devote your focus to one things solely and do it well before moving on to something new. This helps you create a sense of mastery. Retraining how we think about ourselves is a key component to achieving personal goals.

OK I think you might be a good fit for me!
